Otley Citizens Advice Bureau
|
Otley Citizens Advice Bureau (part of Leeds CAB) is responsible for providing a free advice service t the people of Otley and the surrounding area. We provide advice on a wide range of subjects, including welfare benefits, employment, housing, consumer matters and debt. Specialist advice can also be arranged through the bureau if required. Otley CAB is part of Leeds Citizens Advice Bureau. In 2004, 2,995 people visited Otley CAB for advice on 4846 different issues.

| Otley Victorian Fayre is being held this year on Friday 9th December 2005.
We will have all of the usual steam traction engines, barrel organs, street entertainment and stalls for Charity groups and for businesses.
The chosen charity this year is 'First Responder' which helps people who have a heart attack receive prompt and potentially life saving treatment as quickly as possible.For more information please contact Trevor Backhouse tel 01943 46792 |

| Otley Show started in 1796 over 200 years ago and is the first major agricultural show of the season. It attracts 15,000 visitors with exhibitors in Cattle, Sheep, Horses, Goats, Poultry, Pigeons, Rabbits, Dogs, Produce, Handicrafts, Floral Art and Farriers. This year it is on 21st May 2005 |

Otley Courthouse is a unique development, run by local people. A redundant nineteenth century magistrates court has been transformed into a unique 'arts and resource centre' for our community. The building is fully accessible - a place where people of all ages and abilities can try things out, get access to advice and support, have fun and discover more about their talents. Local groups can come to borrow equipment, rehearse, hold meetings and events, access training and have the opportunity to work together in new ways.
